Here are some of my best teachers so far:
What have I learned?
* Golden/Collie cuts
* Clipping/scissoring styles for Bichon Frise, Schnauzer, Mini-poodle, Portuguese Water Dog
* I love working with dirty dogs!
* Mats can be removed from a cat without shaving or anesthesia… all it takes is a lot of patience and multiple short sessions working with the kitty…
* The calming sprays made at MACC using Dr. Willard’s Water and essential oils really do work to calm dogs greatly… This week I witnessed the spray mix called ‘Stress Relief’ quickly pull an immune-compromised (from chemo) older pooch out of a life threatening seizure… very impressive… I definately will be using the Dr. Willard’s Water for diluting all pet shampoo products….
- Covered with hidden mats, this sweetie took 3 sessions to fully snip clean, but she turned out beautiful, happy and soft.
- The depressed and dirty sheltie before grooming…
- …got all happy once cleaned and trimmed.
- The grundgy and dusty corgie…
- …glissened once cleaned and trimmed.
- Bouncy yet filty…
- …I scrubbed up this wonderful Portuguese Water Dog…
- …and he positively sparkled after a clipper trim…
- This rumpled mini-schnauzer…
- …loved his finished clipper cut…
- A happy, sweet Bichon Frise…
- ..was even happier and sweeter after his clipper and scissor cut…
- … and, my first poodle cut… those tiny feet are challenging…
Those faces! The schnauzer looks just like Pepper.. It must be such a relief when you take off the mats, I can imagine them being so uncomfortable and pulling,,. Love those happy faces, and I love your blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
